BELE BELE RHYTHM COLLECTIVE

The Bele Bele Rhythm Collective was founded by drumlady Kristen Arant in 2008. The BBRC is an intergenerational, diverse group of women who all share a passion for the drum. They study and perform tightly sewn compositions of West African polyrhythms complete with songs, breaks, and accompanying dancers.  The Bele Beles have performed at various events including the Takoma Park 4th of July Firework Festivities, Celebrating Purpose & The African Disapora Gala in Silver Spring, MD.
